3 Things People Use Everyday That Increase “STRESS”

These items are things that people use everyday because they are extremely fatigued and are looking desperately for a “quick fix” to get through their next chore or hour of work.  Caffeine is used to start many of your days.  Some people say they can’t be without it or that they have to ingest several cups per day because they are so sleepy.  The second is Sugar of all types.  Some of you do not consume white sugar directly but have a diet that is high in starchy carbohydrate consumption or snacks.  Those that deprive their bodies of the right foods create a deprivation that causes a large amount of Stress on the body.  The Sugar consumption increases the cortisol level, lowers your metabolism, causes fat storage, lowers muscle mass and makes you a very unhappy campers!  The third item is alcohol.   Brain Chemicals that signal your adrenal glands to produce that cortisol to handle Stress are directly affected by alcohol consumption.  I read a study on About.com called “Chronic Drinking Increases Stress Hormone” that proved if you are a steady drinker cortisol will show two to three times higher during the day and night even after drinking has stopped. ( Read more at http://alcoholism.about.com/cs/health/a/blacer030915.htm) So, how much has the casual drinking changed or influenced a higher saliva test score or blood work result?
