Have You Taken Enough Time For Yourself?

Have you taken enough time for yourself?

This is the time of year that everyone evaluates the list of things they could, should or would

have done over the year to improve their lives if they had only found the time. You promised

yourself to eat right, exercise, get enough sleep, take your vitamins and lose those excess

pounds. So, here we are at the end of the year and how far did you get on your list? We all

think that we can do all of this by ourselves and we don’t need anyone telling us how to do it.

We’re smart, motivated and knowledgeable. How has it been working for you?

You can answer that by looking in a full length mirror. Start by looking at your eyes. Do they

have dark circles under them or do they sparkle with wellness? Does your skin look clear,

smooth and healthy or dull with large pores, acne, dryness or wrinkles?

Next, check out your posture. Are you standing with confidence and wellness or slouching from

stress, excess weight and fatigue? Do you get enough sleep? How about quiet time for

hobbies, reading or writing? When is the last time you really laughed and had fun?

What makes us leave ourselves last? We always think everyone else’s needs are more

important than our own. We have been taught not to be selfish to a fault. We let the years go

by hoping that one day there will be time for us. The problem with that is when we do finally

have the time, we become so overwhelmed with what we need for ourselves that we welcome

the distraction of the demands of others just not to have to deal with it. We stay completely

away from that mirror, parties and vacations. We don’t want to dress up, because our clothes

no longer fit and our skin looks 10 years older.

When the self-critic inside starts tearing us down, it is time to seek help! That is what our Feel Great/Look

Great Center is all about. My years of seeking methods that work to keep me healthy and looking younger than

I am. It was me taking care of myself and sharing those methods with you. Showing many of you how to look

your best with Collagen or any of the LED facials and to feel great with supplements that help alleviate stress,

inflammation, fatigue, weight loss and sleep issues. If you learn to take good care of yourself, it is much easier

to help others. They follow your example when you look and feel great! They want what you have!

Begin by thinking of one thing that you like to do and do it! Start to put that genuine smile back

on your face. Acknowledge yourself for all the things you do to help your family, career and

friends reach their goals. It is so easy to pick out all our imperfections and failures and add them

to next year’s list of New Year’s Resolutions.

Let’s start this New Year with something to help ourselves! Let us help you with your health goals, so that they

don’t fade away after the first 2 weeks of January. We will help you keep your goals alive the entire year, so

your next New Year’s ambitions will be a brand new set of aspirations that will broaden and enhance your life!
